New York, NY—On May 2, 2019, the WFPG hosted Ann Mei Chang, a leading advocate for social innovation and author of Lean ImpactHow to Innovate for Radically Greater Social Good. In the conversation, Chang drew on her experiences working in Silicon Valley and at USAID to offer a unique cross-sector approach to accelerating impact. She encouraged attendees to "think big, start small, and seek impact." By using small-scale pilot projects to test initiatives, nonprofits can learn how to best serve their communities and can effect greater change. The conversation was moderated by Mary Pflum Peterson of NBC News and Today Show and co-hosted by Cultural Vistas.
