2011 Celebrating Women Leaders Dinner

Join us in honoring Senator Dianne Feinstein this Thursday!


Senator Dianne Feinstein, Chair, Senate Select Committee on Intelligence, will address WFPG on "Technology, Terrorism, and Intelligence: Economic and Security Challenges in a Globalizing World" at a dinner at the Four Seasons Hotel. New York Times Pentagon Correspondent Elizabeth Bumiller will moderate the program, chaired by WFPG Board Chair Maxine Isaacs.

WFPG's Celebrating Women Leaders Series events highlight prominent women officials and international leaders who shape foreign policy and international decision-making. These benefits attract distinguished leaders, ambassadors, and officials in the US foreign policy community. Previous speakers have included: Secretary of Homeland Security Janet Napolitano, Secretaries of State Condoleezza Rice and Madeleine Albright, President Ellen Johnson Sirleaf of Liberia, and Senators Hillary Clinton and Kay Bailey Hutchison.

Ambassador Vieira was appointed to his current post in January 2010, after serving as Brazil's Ambassador to Argentina and holding several positions at the Brazilian Ministry of Foreign Relations, including Chief of Staff to both the Secretary-General and to the Minister of External Relations.
